*Installed cost is based on a heating only closed loop system with 100% of the heating load met by either horizontal or vertical ground source methods. For each scenario, a price range is supplied as ground source heat systems are site specific, e.g. the differing geology of locations can have a significant influence on price. For open loop systems and those that use a combination of vertical and horizontal loops, please contact us for more information.
*Installed cost includes:
· Ground works – trenching/drilling
· Hardware – heat pump, pipes and connections
· Labour – installation and commissioning
*Excludes:
· Site modifications & delivery to site – access, geotechnical surveys etc
· Thermal Response Test (TRT) - highly recommended for vertical loop installations as the TRT will in most circumstances, lower the drilling scope and cost of your project.
· Permitting costs (planning, etc)
· Additional trenching/drilling/cabling & electrical connections
· Communication costs if applicable
· Operations and maintenance
· Modification to or installation of distribution circuits e.g. under floor heating.
NB. The above are guide prices and do not constitute a firm offer.
